Logotype

The logotype is our most important asset and represents the Skanska brand. Our refreshed logotype has been modernized and adjusted to better reflect our new position and the digital landscape we now exist in as a brand.

Brand device

The Skanska Brand device is a dynamic extension of the Logotype. It is a symbol that confidently adapts to various contexts and formats and adds a humble, yet confident presence as a brand sender. With it´s clear and bold shapes, it tells a story of building, stability, foundation, micro, and macro perspectives and the importance of attention to detail. Our Brand device is a set of fixed shapes, not to be altered, but adaptable in size to fit different formats, both for still and motion.


Grid

The grid and layout are the foundations of our visual identity. Together with the brand device, the grid forms a modular system based on 3 sections that is coherent and easy to use.


Typography

Our new typeface Shape Sans is an important part of the Skanska identity. It has been infused with the DNA of the Skanska logotype, and it has been designed to be a timeless typeface with an engineered look and human voice.

Colors

The Skanska colors are key to ensure recognition and keeping the brand visually consistent. We are mainly a blue brand, and it is very important that other colors are used consciously.


Image style

Images are one of the most prominent visual elements in the Skanska identity. They make our position, (purpose), character and values come alive. They also act as storytellers of how, where and for whom Skanska shapes the way we live.


Icons

Icons are useful to make concepts or data easily understandable and are powerful storytelling devices. The icons have been developed together with the Skanska
Shape Sans typeface, and together they create a unique, functional, and coherent identity.

2 Colors

The Skanska colors are key to ensure recognition and keeping the brand visually consistent. We are mainly a blue brand, with a pinch of green represented by our clear CTA. Our tertiary palette is to be used moderately, for example, in information graphics and illustrations.

Infographics

The presentation of Skanska figures requires careful and serious treatment. Infographics shall always be seen as an extension of the Skanska graphic identity. These figures shall be presented in a professional and clear manner.


Illustration style

Illustrations are one of the core assets in our visual toolbox. They are created primarily for more complex visualizations of systems, societies and constructions - but may also be used solely as a decorative element. The expression is derived from architectural and engineering blueprints, yet they also help us to capture the subjects in a humanistic and simplistic way.

Sound
